Painting at Villatalla

Objectives :

To creatively express the experience of the week of Ligurian culture and landscape in painting and drawing.

Students will have an introduction to the elements of drawing and painting, which in turn, will give a solid foundation for future artwork. Teachers Kate Carson and Michelle Miller teach by example and also give confidence building exercises, which can be appropriated into final works of art.

Students are required to bring their own supplies. A supply list can be given if requested.

Having two teachers allows more individual attention to the student. Kate and Michelle's teaching styles reflect their approach to their own artwork. Thus, a balance is achieved for the student wanting the best of both worlds.
